About Me

I am Brittany, owner of Skylon’s Design LLC. Would you believe it all started in my home kitchen with planning my kid's birthday party? I was standing in my kitchen planning my son's birthday party faced with the dilemma of ordering a last minute cake and where I would order. Being a mother of five children and a busy management career in social services; my life didn't allow me a lot of time to do things in advance. I decided to just do all of his treats and cake for the party myself. One post of pictures on social media gained the attention of many and inquiries for services began. I began my culinary education at Ivy Tech focusing on baking and pastries. I also received my ServSafe certification from Ivy Tech community college. I found that baking gave me a peace of mind. As a home based vendor, I specialize in home made baked goods of all sorts. Beautiful and tasty creations have been created for many and I look forward to creating more for you.
